Firefox 3 - O Yeah! We did it!

I was thoroughly happy to see this notification I had received in Facebook today in the morning when I came to work. Also I kept on checking the spreadfirefox.com website since 17th June, the day I downloaded Firefox 3 to contribute to the record. The news is what we were all waiting for - Firefox 3 is now officially holds the Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours!!!

8,002,530 people all around the world contributed to set this amazing record. Thanks a lot for everyone's support.

Sri Lankans: We're gonna celebrate this - All Firefoxers will be rocking the Mount beach on 5th July (Saturday). Hope to see you guys in "Catamarana" - right next to the Golden Mile restaurent, Mount Lavinia. Let's have some fun!! :-D
